NH State Police cruiser struck in Concord while investigating crash

CONCORD, NH — A New Hampshire State police cruiser was struck while conducting an investigation into a crash.

On December 11, 2022, at approximately 5:40 p.m., Trooper Joshua Farmer was investigating a single motor vehicle crash on the 1-93 Exit 14 southbound on-ramp in the City of Concord.

While investigating, a 2022 Nissan Rogue lost control and struck the rear of the cruiser, Trooper Farmer was sitting in the passengers seat.

The driver was identified as Rainice Lai, 31 of Dorchester. Lai was not injured.

The trooper was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It was determined that Lai was responsible for the crash and charged with negligent driving.
