Missing NH boy (NH AG's Office)

CONCORD, N.H. — State and local officials in New Hampshire are searching for a missing 5-year-old boy who they say has been missing for the last six months. That boy, identified as Elijah (Eli) Lewis, was reported missing on Thursday, Oct. 14.

Crews were back out on Sunday searching for the boy, but there was no break announced in the case.

Police are looking to speak with Lewis’ mother, 35-year-old Danielle Denise Dauphinais, who may be with 30-year-old Joseph Stapf. The pair are believed to be driving a red or maroon 2007 Toyota Tundra with New Hampshire license plate JOJOD78.

“Ms. Dauphinais is described as 5′4″ tall, weighs approximately 165 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes,” Attorney General John M. Formella wrote in a release Friday. “Mr. Stapf is described as 5′10″ tall, weighs approximately 170 lbs with brown hair and green eyes.”

This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
