BURLINGTON, Mass. — The Simon Property Group announced on Monday the upcoming completion of the next phase in the redevelopment of the Burlington Mall.
The new design will feature a modern age makeover with an outdoor park, event area, and additional dining destinations, along with other shops that are expected to open this year.
“We are thrilled that Burlington Mall’s newest enhancements, combined with existing retail and dining offerings, provides our loyal customers a reinvented, modern and convenient shopping and dining experience,” said Justin Feldhouse, General Manager, Burlington Mall. “With a great selection of retail stores paired with a variety of dining options and new outdoor amenities, Burlington Mall will continue to be the favorite shopping, dining, and entertainment destination in Greater Boston.”
The dining places slated to open this fall include Parm, which will be the chain’s first restaurant to open in Massachusetts. Other food destinations include Fogo De Chao, Shake Shack, and Bennett’s Sandwich Shop.
Retailer shops expect to open at the Burlington Mall over the next year include Fabletics, Miltons: The Store For Men, and Lands’ End.
The transformative redevelopment includes a one-acre outdoor gathering green space, which Simon hopes will boast spacious outdoor seating. There will also be an alfresco patio dining and amenities for seasonal programming and community events.
The mall will also include a new pedestrian connection that will allow for easy and safe access from the mall to The Village at Burlington Mall, and the main entrance of the mall will also be completed in June.
There have also been recent openings at the Burlington Mall that include Karma Asian Fusion Cuisine and Warby Parker.
