BOSTON — The three suspects who were arrested in connection with a bold smash-and-grab at a high-end watch store in Boston’s Back Bay have pleaded not guilty to the charges.
21-year-old Jaydrian Diaz, 20-year-old Akari Cummings, and 21-year-old Isaiah McPherson appeared in Boston Municipal Court late Monday afternoon.
The trio is accused of having a loaded gun, wearing masks and using hammers to smash their way into the Audemars Piguet luxury watch store on Boylston Street on Friday night.
Prosecutors said they stole eight watches with an estimated total value of $200,000.
The stolen merchandise was recovered in the getaway car that was ditched just a few blocks from the crime.
A fourth suspect, believed to be the driver, remains at large.
According to investigators, that suspect flashed a loaded semi-automatic firearm as officers surrounded a Toyota Corolla.
He then reportedly fumbled and dropped it.

“They proceeded to almost hit multiple officers with the vehicle and smashed into a BMW containing two civilians who were sitting at a red light,” said prosecutor
Christian Pasciak.
The video shows the four suspects bailing out of the car simultaneously and running in different directions.
A foot chase proceeded to play out in front of spectators who were watching it unfold in real time.
One of the suspects was arrested near Emerson college, another on Boston Common and the third on nearby Tremont Street.
All three are being held without bail ahead of a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Thursday.
Investigators continue to follow leads in an effort to track down the fourth suspect who’s still on the run.
