SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — If you’re looking to get mesmerized by the magic of the holidays this year, you’re in luck because New England is home to two of the “most spectacular” winter light displays in America, according to a new report.
Frommer’s recently put together a list of dazzling displays at gardens, zoos, racetracks, caverns, city parks, resorts, and mansions across the country that shine the very brightest.
Bright Nights at Forest Park in Springfield landed on Frommer’s list. The extravagant attraction features 400 exhibits the illuminate a three-mile drive. Exhibits include Santa’s Magical Forest, Jurassic World, Leaping Frog, Winter Woods, Everett Barney Mansion, North Pole Village, Toy Land, and more.

The lights at Bright Nights will be lit from Nov. 23 through Jan. 1. Tickets must be purchased in advance online or at Big Y.
Holidays at the Newport Mansions in Rhode Island also landed on the list. Guests can enjoy festive decorations at The Breakers, Marble House and The Elms from Nov. 19 through Jan. 1.
