Multiple injuries reported in 4-vehicle crash on Westboro highway

WESTBORO, Mass. — Authorities reported multiple injuries after a multi-vehicle crash on a highway in Westboro on Tuesday morning.

Emergency crews responding to a report of a crash on the westbound side of Route 9 in the area of the 100 block of Turnpike Road around 8 a.m. found four vehicles that were involved in a wreck, according to the Westboro Fire Department.

There was no immediate word on the severity of the injuries to those involved in the crash.

Officials warned of traffic delays in the area.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
