RAYNHAM, Mass. — Two people have died after a crash on I-495 northbound in Raynham Tuesday morning.
Troopers were called to the crash at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday. Officials say one motorist was pronounced dead at the scene. A second person, who was in a different vehicle but police believe was out of his vehicle when he was struck, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead Tuesday night at Rhode Island Hospital.
State police say five vehicles, one of which was pulling a trailer, were involved in the crash.
The crash closed the highway during the Tuesday morning commute. Officials are still investigating.
