Princeton motorcyclist killed in crash with tractor-trailer in Lancaster, state police say

LANCASTER, Mass. — A 25-year-old motorcyclist from Princeton was killed in a crash with a tractor-trailer in Lancaster early Monday morning, state police said.

At 1:38 a.m., troopers and emergency crews responded to a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle on Route 190 southbound in Lancaster, at the 15.8 mile marker, state police said.

The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released.

The right travel lane was closed until approximately 6:20 a.m., state police said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, the State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and the State Police Detective Unit for Worcester County.
