When Taylor Swift makes her triumphant return to Gillette Stadium this weekend, fans going to at least one show should be prepared to meet her in the pouring rain.
Taylor’s Friday, May 19, show should take place under clear skies. According to Boston 25 Meteorologist Vicki Graf, Friday will be mostly sunny with highs near 70 degrees.
However, Saturday calls for a high chance of heavy rain. Showers will move in overnight and linger throughout the morning before steady rain circles the Foxboro area in the afternoon and evening. Vicki says there is an 80% chance of precipitation and half an inch of rain may fall.
The wetness will lingle into Sunday morning but should clear up by the time Taylor takes the stage at 6:30 p.m. for her weekend-closing show that night. Sunday’s high will be as high as 76 degrees.
Each show this weekend will begin at 6:30 p.m.
