Police: Car crashes halfway up a tree in Boxborough, driver nowhere to be found

BOXBOROUGH, Mass. — An abandoned car was towed out of the woods Tuesday morning after crashing halfway up a tree in Boxborough.

Troopers responding to the area of Route 495 southbound near mile marker 76 found a car in the wooded median on its nose leaning against an evergreen, according to State Police. Officials say they canvassed the area but could not locate a driver or passenger.

The car was towed from the tree line and crews cleared the scene around 9:09 a.m.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact State Police.
