Members of the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office donate toys to children in the DCF

DEDHAM, Mass. — Employees from the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office delivered and donated 150 toys to children in the care of the Department of Children and Families.
As apart of the nonprofit organization, “Wonderfund”. Over the past few weeks, staff of the sheriffs office had pick out ornament’s from a giving tree, filled with the wishes of 150 children in the DCF.
“The thought of knowing that a very deserving child is going to experience a little bit of joy on Christmas morning, during what might now be a difficult situation, warms our hearts,” said Sheriff Patrick McDermott.
Employees had joined the charity caravan and made their way to DCF’s Braintree center.
“I am incredibly touched and thankful for the thoughtfulness and caring of the men and women of the NCSO,” said Sheriff McDermott. “Happy holidays to all!”
