PELHAM, Mass. — Massachusetts state police troopers have rescued an injured owl on the side of the road.
According to state police, troopers Troopers Mathew Buscanera and Sean Mucci responded to reports of an injured owl in Pelham that had been struck by a car and left with a broken wing.
Upon arrival at the scene, troopers were able to safely secure the owl and make arrangements to transport it to a rehabilitation center in Conway, N.H.
The condition of the owl is currently unknown.
