RANDOLPH, Mass. — A Massachusetts man says he plans to pay for his wedding and purchase a home after recently winning a $1 million prize on a $5 scratch ticket.
Sean Galvez, of Randolph, chose the cash option on his “$1,000,000 Monopoly Doubler” prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000, according to the Massachusetts Lottery.
Galvez purchased his winning ticket at the V & D Variety Store on River Street in Hyde Park.
The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale of this ticket.
