Marlborough teen arrested after allegedly leading police on chase in Leominster

LEOMINSTER, Mass. — A 19-year-old man from Marlborough was arrested Saturday after allegedly stealing a truck and leading Leominster Police on a highway chase, according to local law enforcement. That teen, identified as John Pequin of Marlborough, is set to face charges Monday in connection to the incident.

Police allege that they tried to pull the truck over Saturday afternoon after Pequin ran a red light in Leominster Square. However, Pequin failed to stop and forced police to pursue him on a nearby highway, where he allegedly side-swiped two cars, officials said.
