HAVERHILL, Mass. — A man shot by police in Haverhill was rushed to the hospital Friday morning, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office.
The DA says police were called to 23 Thorndike Street just before 5 a.m. for a domestic violence incident. The DA says police shot the man multiple times “in the course of their response.” He was taken to Lawrence General Hospital before Boston where officials say he is alive.
