FRANCONIA, New Hampshire — A man who fell out of his kayak in a New Hampshire lake has drowned, New Hampshire State Police said in a statement.
State Police received a call at 10 a.m. Saturday reporting the man had fallen out of his kayak on Echo Lake in Franconia.
The victim was found a few minutes later by other people in the area.
His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The incident remains under investigation.
