SEABROOK, NH — A Rochester man is in custody and facing multiple charges following a pursuit that ended in a crash in Seabrook, NH.
According to State Police around 10:36 p.m. on Sunday, December 8th, troopers pursued a 2020 Hyundai Accent traveling more than 100 mph on I-95 N.
The driver had been previously pursued by the Massachusetts State Police for the same offense. New Hampshire State Police Troopers followed the Hyundai off Exit 1 in Seabrook and, after the driver went down several secondary roads, the Hyundai crashed into another vehicle at the intersection of Route 1 and Route 107.
The driver, identified as Jordan Metherall, 31, of Rochester, got out of the vehicle and attempted to flee, but was quickly taken into custody by police.
A female passenger in the Hyundai suffered serious injuries. The driver of the second vehicle, a 2012 Buick LaCrosse, was uninjured during the crash.
Metherall faces numerous felony charges including reckless conduct, disobeying an officer, and conduct after an accident.
He was held in preventative detention and is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday in Hampton District Court.
