EAST BOSTON — A man is dead after being stabbed Thursday night, according to Boston Police.
Officials said they received a radio call shortly after 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve reporting a person had been stabbed in the area of 208 Sumner Street in East Boston.
When police arrived they found the man suffering from an apparent stab wound. He was brought to an area hospital where he died.
Police said they are actively investigating the incident and ask anyone with information to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
