Man charged in Quincy drug bust that netted $40k worth of cocaine, guns, police say

QUINCY, Mass. — A Quincy man is under arrest in connection to a drug investigation on Tuesday, according to authorities.

36-year-old Curtis Sullivan is facing several charges related to firearm possession and narcotics.

Police say they executed two search warrants in the city on December 17 around 9:30 a.m., one at Curtis’s residence on Curtis Street and another on a storage unit on Liberty Street.

Detectives reportedly seized 341 grams of white powder (believed to be cocaine), a loaded .40 caliber Glock with an obliterated serial number, and a .40 caliber Glock 23 with a large capacity magazine holding 22 rounds of ammo while searching the storage container.

At Curtis’s residence, investigators say they found 51 grams of white power, also believed to be cocaine, along with a loaded .45 caliber Glock 30S handgun with 12 rounds in the magazine.

According to police, the street value of the seized cocaine is approximately $40,000.

Curtis was arraigned in Quincy District Court. No further information was immediately available.
