BROOKFIELD, Mass — A family of bears was spotted in a Brookfield backyard over the weekend.
Tarah Fitzgerald tells Boston 25 News she thinks her dog scared the family, sending the three cubs scurrying up two trees in her backyard.
Video shows two of the cubs clinging to the bark of the tree. Tarah told Boston 25, she could hear their mother trampling through the brush near her porch.
The visiting family is just one of several bear sightings that have popped up in the Bay State in recent weeks.
