FALMOUTH, Mass — A raccoon was rescued in Falmouth Thursday after becoming stranded on a hammock.
The critter was left hanging for about an hour before an animal control officer was able to safely help it down.
The animal control officer checked that the raccoon was healthy before letting the woodland creature resume his life of pillaging trash cans.
