REVERE, Mass. — Officials are investigating a shooting that took place Friday night in Revere.
Revere police responded to Floyd Street at 8:30 p.m. Friday, for reports of shots fired, according to Revere Police Lieutenant Sean Randall.
Once on scene police found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound, officials say.
Police taped off a large area of Floyd Street for the investigation. A Boston 25 News photographer noticed an SUV inside the crime scene that appeared to have its back window shattered.

The man who was shot was transported to Mass General Hospital in Boston, according to Lt. Randall.
Officials did not give a condition of the man shot.
A spokesperson for the Suffolk County District Attorney tells Boston 25 News that their office is also investigating the shooting.
