METHUEN, Mass. — Police are investigating an overnight incident in Methuen that prompted a large police response.
Blue gloves from EMTs and a piece of clothing were seen strewn in the middle of Boston Street Monday morning.
Nearly 30 evidence markers were scattered in the street as detectives walked around with flashlights. A car was also seen being towed away from the neighborhood.

Two people who live nearby say they heard what sounded like gunshots around 1 a.m.
