BOSTON — Attention, Katy Perry fans.
The “Roar” singer and pop star is coming to Boston this summer as part of her extensive world tour.
Perry is scheduled to perform at the TD Garden on Aug. 8. Tickets go on pre-sale on Tuesday and they go on sale to the general public on Friday.
Perry will kick off her four-continent “The Lifetimes Tour” in Mexico City on April 23.
After several stops in the U.S., she will then head to Australia for several performances and then back to the U.S. and Canada before her visit to the Bay State.
The 40-year-old performer, who is a former American Idol judge, also has a new album out now, “143.”
The pop star has said she was influenced by angel numbers for her latest album title, according to a report in People Magazine.
“I do love the listener, and I want to give them the love that I’ve received as best as I possibly can and help invite them into this kind of love frequency,” Perry said during an earlier conversation with Zane Lowe, the magazine reported.
After her scheduled performance in Boston, Perry has planned performances in several other countries including Argentina, Brazil and Scotland.
Her final world tour performance is scheduled for Nov. 5 in Paris.
