BOSTON — A disturbing discovery at the Boston Public Works Yard on Monday morning.

Bost Police received this 911 call that stated, “400 Frontage Rd. Callers from public works were taking out the trash, went to dump a blue bin, and found a body.”

A picture sent to Boston 25 shows what appears to be a blue bin in the back of that black truck with crime scene tape around it.

Earlier Monday morning, someone made a report to 311 on Winchester Street in Boston’s Bay Village asking for someone to come take away a grocery cart with a blue bin in it.

Neighbors tell Boston 25 the cart had been there since at least 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

“That basket was here on the sidewalk at Winchester I was going to move to because it was blocking a little of the road,” said Bill a neighbor who did not want us to use his last name.

It was still there Sunday night and Monday morning but a neighbor says it had been moved to the end of the street.

“I saw it last night when I took my trash out I saw it again this morning when I went to work,” said

After a neighbor made the report to 311 the carriage with the blue bin was picked up the case was closed… as you see from this picture showing it had been picked up.

Sources tell Boston 25 News it was taken to the public works yard, shortly after this eerie 911 call was made to the police.

“…went to dump a blue bin… found a body.”

“That is actually really, really scary,” said Mary O’Beirne who lives just down the street.

There were no additional details immediately available.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
