Halloween 2022: See town-by-town dates, times for trick-or-treating in Massachusetts

Believe it or not, Halloween is already right around the corner!

Kids are putting final touches on their costumes and parents are stocking up on sweet treats as the countdown to trick-or-treating commences.

Some communities in Massachusetts have issued suggested times for trick-or-treaters to travel throughout their neighborhoods and collect candy.

Check out the list below to see if your town has a suggested time:

Andover - Oct. 31, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Auburn - Oct. 31, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Amesbury - Oct. 31, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Canton - Halloween Parade and Trunk or Treat, Oct. 30, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Chelmsford - Oct. 31, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Great Barrington - Oct. 31, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Groton - Oct. 31, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Haverhill - Oct. 29, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Holden - Holding extra day of trick-or-treating on Oct. 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Newburyport: Oct. 31, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Worcester - Oct. 31, 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Most towns and cities have not set a designated time for trick-or-treating, with business returning to usual on Oct. 31 following the COVID-19 pandemic.

In recent years, steps were taken to designate times due to coronavirus concerns.

This list will be updated as additional times are announced.
