Former Patriots cornerback J.C. Jackson booked at Bristol County Jail for “family issue”

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Ma — Former Patriots cornerback J.C. Jackson was booked at the Bristol County Jail and House of Corrections Monday in connection with a “family issue.”

According to a spokesperson with the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office, he was booked early Monday afternoon and was brought to the station by Fall River police after a probate court appearance.

The family issue is considered non-violent, according to the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office.

It is not currently known if Jackson is being held on bail.

J.C. Jackson signed as an undrafted free agent in New England in 2018. In his four years in New England, Jackson snatched 25 interceptions and was named to the 2021 Pro Bowl.

Jackson signed a 5-year, $82.5 million deal with the Los Angeles Chargers during the 2022 NFL offseason.
