BOSTON — Boston is ready to host its biggest New Year’s Eve party on Tuesday with a slew of planned festivities to ring in 2025.
“It’s the biggest party in New England and we’re excited to welcome you in,” First Night Boston 2025 said.
The tens of thousands of holiday revelers expected in Boston can enjoy live music, two separate fireworks shows, ice sculptures, tasty treats, and family activities, according to event organizers.
Safety officials on Monday said that there are no known threats against the city, but urged the public to remain vigilant as they celebrate.
“We want to emphasize that safety works when we all work together, so if you see something, say something by dialing 911,” Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox said at a news conference alongside Mayor Michelle Wu.
