Firefighters battle 2-alarm fire in a Medford home

MEDFORD, Mass. — Firefighters worked to knock down a 2-alarm blaze on Lee Street in Medford on Wednesday afternoon.

One firefighter was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries after getting hit by debris, fire officials said.

The flames looked to be spewing out from the side and roof of the house.

The Medford Fire Department is investigating the cause and damage of the fire.
