Emergency crews respond to hazmat situation at Mass General Hospital (Boston Fire Department)

BOSTON — Emergency personnel are responding to a Level 3 hazmat situation at Mass General Hospital where a liquid nitrogen tank is leaking in the basement, the fire department said.

Boston Fire officials tweeted that fire personnel responded to the Boston hospital around 5:45 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

Crews are working on shutting down the leak and the area is secure, according to the fire department.
