GLOUCESTER, Mass. — One school resource officer on the North Shore is embracing the holiday spirit.
Gloucester’s School Resource Officer Brendan Chipperini has been appearing at each elementary school in the city this week dressed as “Chippy the Elf on the Shelf.”
He sits atop the entrance of each school and greets students with a smile and a wave.
Friday will be his last stop on the holiday tour.
