BOSTON — Authorities have launched a death investigation after one person was fatally shot in Boston late Thursday night.
Officers responding to a radio call for a person shot at the intersection of Morton and West Selden streets just after 10:30 p.m. learned the victim had already been rushed by Boston EMS to Boston Medical Center for evaluation, according to the Boston Police Department.
The victim, whose name hasn’t been released, later died from their injuries.
Police didn’t share any additional details on the victim or suspect in the shooting.
Boston police homicide detectives are leading the investigation.
