Deadly pedestrian crash in New Hampshire under investigation

BROOKLINE, NH — An investigation is underway after a man was struck and killed by a pickup truck in New Hampshire Monday night.

The man was traveling down Route 130, also known as Pepperell Road, when he was hit and thrown 20 yards down the road after being hit by the truck, according to Brookline Police Chief William Quigley.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Chief Quigley.

The road was closed for several hours as officials investigated the crash.

Police said the crash remains under investigation and it is unknown if there will be any charges levied against the driver of the pick-up.

The victim’s name has not been released.
