Crews respond to fire in Andover on Saturday night

ANDOVER, Mass. — Fire crews in Andover responded to a fire Saturday night at a home on Evergreen Lane.

Evergreen Lane is a private way off Lowell Street in Andover, near the town water treatment plant, and not far from I-93.

The road leads to Haggetts Pond, which is the reservoir in Andover.

A Boston 25 News photographer was able to get a view of the fire from across the pond. Some of the woods in the area were on fire.

Media access to the fire scene was limited, as was information about the fire as of Saturday night.

Boston 25 News has reached out to the Andover Fire Department for details.

Crews from Reading also responded to provide mutual aid to the town of Andover.
