LITTLETON, Mass. — Rescue crews are on the scene of a crash between an MBTA Commuter Rail train and a tractor-trailer in Littleton.
It’s the second crash involving an MBTA Commuter Rail train on the Fitchburg Line on Friday.
The current incident is on King Street at Taylor Street according to the Littleton Fire and Fire Departments. People are urged to avoid the area.
Eleven passengers were on board the train. An MBTA spokesman says there are no injuries to those passengers.
A post from the Littleton Firefighters Local 4599 says at least one person was taken to the hospital. It’s unclear if that was the tractor-trailer driver or someone else.
