BOSTON — Shuttle buses are replacing train service on portions of the MBTA’s Green Line due to a power issue along the tracks Tuesday.
The buses are servicing the route between the Kenmore and Park Street Stations due to a power issue near Copley, the MBTA alerted at 10:21 a.m.
Riders needing to navigate the area between Packard’s Corner and Government Center should use the Route 57 Bus to Kenmore, the MBTA says. Similarly, riders should use the Route 39 bus service, the replacement shuttle buses or the Orange Line to reach Back Bay and Copley.

Last week, the MBTA announced problems with the MBTA’s new 4.4-mile Green Line Extension are so severe that the agency will need to widen more than two-thirds of the nearly brand-new tracks.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
