SANDWICH, Mass. — The U.S. Coast Guard rescued five crew members from a fishing boat 85 miles east of the Cape after it caught fire Friday night.
Around 5 p.m., the Coast Guard First District watchstanders were notified from the boat, named the Nobska, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
“All five crew members are safely back on shore and no injuries were reported,” the Coast Guard tweeted Friday night.
When crews arrived, all five members were on the stern of the boat. The air crew directed them into water where they were safely hoisted and brought back to shore.
No injuries were reported.
