NAHANT, Mass. — One person was taken into custody in connection with a recent incident involving a vehicle that was spotted driving recklessly on a North Shore beach.
A video shared with Boston 25 News showed a dark-colored Infiniti sedan driving over the dunes at Nahant Beach Reservation, doing “doughnuts” in the sand and veering off into shallow water as beachgoers looked on with concern.
The Infiniti ultimately drove away from the beach area, but visible tire tracks were left behind in the sand.

Authorities told Boston 25 News that an unnamed suspect was arrested after the incident. However, there was no word on whether charges have been filed.
An investigation into the incident remains “open,” according to police.
