BOSTON — “Black Panther” fans got their first look at the sequel to the 2018 Marvel hit over the weekend, and eagle-eyed viewers in the Boston area may have noticed some familiar sights.
“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” filmed scenes in Boston, Cambridge and Worcester, some of which can be seen in the teaser trailer.
At 1:32, for example, Martin Freeman is seen standing on the Mass. Ave. bridge. A few seconds later, there appears to be a showdown on the same bridge.
Later in the trailer, there is a large explosion at the intersection of Mass. Ave. and Memorial Drive.
