Boston Police investigating hit-and-run after pedestrian was struck by vehicle

BOSTON — Boston Police are investigating a hit-and-run that left a pedestrian in critical condition.

The incident happened in the area of Tremont St. and Hammond St., around 10 p.m. Friday.

The male victim was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries according to Boston Police.

An accident reconstruction team was called in to assist with the investigation.

Boston Police said they are still searching for the driver of the accident.
