Boston police seek help finding missing teen last seen leaving high school basketball game

BOSTON — Police in Boston are turning to the public for help tracking down a missing teenage boy who was last seen leaving a high school basketball game on Tuesday, officials announced Wednesday.

Nycere Johnson, 13, of Dorchester, has not been seen or heard from since he left a basketball game at Charlestown High School, according to the Boston Police Department.

Johnson is known to frequent Downtown Crossing and Charlestown’s Bunker Hill housing development, police noted.

He is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, about 135 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and yellow sneakers.

Anyone with information on Johnson’s whereabouts is urged to contact 911 or 617-343-4712.
