Police searching for suspect accused of stealing dog from outside Whole Foods in Boston

BOSTON — Boston police are searching for a suspect who allegedly swiped a chihuahua from outside a Whole Foods grocery store over the weekend.

Alejandro, a tan white-haired chihuahua was last seen around 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard, according to the Boston Police Department.

The department released photos of the suspect with the dog that authorities say were taken around 10:30 a.m. in the area of the store at 15 Westland Avenue.
