BOSTON — Boston was recently named one of the top 10 “best food destinations” in the United States.
Meet Boston announced Thursday that Beantown was listed on TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards as the 6th best of the best food destinations.
TripAdvisor highlights Boston’s old neighborhoods like the North End as a culinary haven.
“You can’t claim to have experienced real Boston culture, though, until you’ve watched a Red Sox game from the bleachers,” the review read.
Rounding out the top five was Savannah, Georgia at 4, New York City, New York at 3, Charleston, South Carolina at 2, and New Orleans, Louisiana claiming the top spot.

Boston is also included in the TripAdvisor 2025 Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best Top Destinations in the United States, a title only 1% of destinations can claim.
