WESTON, Mass. — An investigation is underway after a deceased individual was located near a busy Massachusetts highway Friday morning, according to authorities.
State Police say they responded to a wooded area adjacent to Route 95 south in Weston around 10:23 a.m. for a report of a dead body found. The area where the incident occurred may be the site of a former homeless encampment, according to officials.
Traffic delays are expected in the area as crews continue to investigate. The right lane and breakdown lane of Route 95 south in Weston is currently closed.
It is unclear if the deceased’s death is considered suspicious at this time.
