Body found in Merrimack River identified as missing Lowell woman

LOWELL, Mass. — A body recovered from the Merrimack River on Tuesday has been identified as Kimberly Kelly-Oberhauser, 56, of Lowell.

Lowell Police have been investigating her disappearance since Jan. 18.

At approximately 12:45 pm Tuesday, April 20, Andover Police and EMS responded to a reported female body on the shoreline in the vicinity of Ravens Bluff.

The body was removed from the water by the Andover Fire Department and taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The matter remains under investigation pending autopsy.
