BOSTON — Authorities are investigating after a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on Friday morning.
Boston Police say they responded to the area of Albany Street and East Berkley Street around 11:10 a.m. for a report of a pedestrian crash.
Arriving officers found a victim lying in the roadway.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with injuries that are considered life-threatening.
Boston 25 News cameras could see a bicycle and other belongings in the roadway, which remained shut down.
The vehicle involved in the crash remained on scene, according to police. It is unclear if they will face any charges.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by homicide detectives.
