Animal Rescue League of Boston hosting small animal adopt-a-thon

Mass — Looking to add a new member to your family? The Animal Rescue League of Boston is hosting a small animal adopt-a-thon this weekend.

From August 10 through August 13, guinea pigs, rabbits, mice, rats, and other small animals will have adoption fees waived across the organization’s three Animal Care & Adoption Centers.

“They may be small, but they will hold a big place in your heart,” the organization wrote.

ARL’s Adoption Forward process will remain the same and prospective adopters must bring a photo of the cage their pet will live in to ensure it meets the rescue leagues’ needs.

The Animal Rescue League has locations in Boston, Dedham, and Brewster and will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Brewster location is by appointment only. To schedule an appointment call (617) 426-9170 x305.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
