BOSTON — With the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ state of emergency set to lift June 15 and the state’s COVID-19-related restrictions set to lift on Saturday, May 29, the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission issued an advisory to establishments reminding them about what is set to end mid-June.

Establishments that are currently licensed to serve alcohol will not be allowed to deliver or provide takeaway sales of alcohol after June 15.

Restaurants that currently have licenses for expanded outdoor dining can continue to provide outdoor dining for customers for up to 60 days through Sunday, August 15.

“The Governor and the Legislature are working on legislation to extend [the outdoor dining] deadline,” the state said in a release Monday. “However, no extension has yet been approved.”
