CANTON, Mass. — The Ninety-Nine Restaurant & Pub announced that it has closed four locations in New England.
The Woburn-based restaurant chain has ceased operations at its location at 362 Turnpike Street in Canton on Nov. 26, a company spokesperson confirmed in a statement.
On Nov. 28, the chain also shut Connecticut locations in Groton, Stratford, and Cromwell.
Team members at the impacted restaurant locations were offered the option of a transfer or severance package, according to the spokesperson.
The Ninety-Nine urged customers of the shuttered spots to visit other restaurant locations in nearby communities.
It’s not clear why these locations were closed abruptly.
The chain currently operates dozens of locations across Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
