NATICK, Mass. — Seven Christmas Tree Shops locations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire closed for good over the weekend as the chain’s going-out-of-business sale continues.
The struggling home-goods retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and then announced liquidation sales at all of its stores after defaulting on a loan that funds its bankruptcy.
On Sunday, Massachusetts stores that closed included Natick, North Dartmouth, Orleans, Pembroke, and West Dennis were shuttered. In New Hampshire, stores in Nashua and Portsmouth were shuttered.
Other locations that are slated to close in the coming days and weeks are offering at least 30% off storewide on kitchen and bath items, wedding merchandise, storage and Organization, and more. Outdoor furniture, garden, and entertaining are also at least 30% off. Christmas and Americana décor is at least 60% off, and all other holiday décor is at least 70% off.
Select fixtures, furnishings, and equipment are also for sale at reduced prices.
All sales are final during this store closing event.
